風景を複数の視点から捉え、東洋的空間概念を参照しながら、光や空気の印象的な温度と色を描き出す。写真をもとにエスキースを制作し、その中から形を抜き取り構成を決める。画面構成は現地での視線の導かれ方に基づき、色彩は実際に見て感じた色を手がかりに調和を探りながら展開する。絵画は、現前する風景と知覚作用を通じた情動が交錯する地点として捉えられ、主体と客体の二項対立を超えて、存在論的分有の共同体の場を画面内に形成することを目指す。

The landscapes are captured from multiple perspectives, referencing Eastern concepts of space, while depicting the evocative temperature and color of light and air. Based on photographs, sketches are produced, from which forms are extracted to determine the composition. The arrangement of the canvas follows the way the eye is guided when visiting the actual site, and colors are developed by exploring harmony based on the hues perceived in situ. The painting is conceived as a point where the emotions elicited through the perception of the present landscape intersect, aiming to form, within the canvas, a communal space of ontological sharing that transcends the duality of subject and object.
